Comida Con Causa was my Spanish teacher, Sofia Tannenhaus, and my Humanities teacher,Matthew Patrick's project for my second semester. "Food with Cause" focused on food justice issues and Latin American countries. We made planter boxes that represented a food justice topic and did research about injustices in Latin America. We interviewed family members and community members to cook cultural recipes. We practiced lots of Spanish, writing, presenting, and cooking!
For my second semester math project, my teacher Dylan Bier had us do a research project on a math field that interested us. We are working on it the whole semester, so here are my weekly updates on how my project is going.
For my first semester sophomore year, my teachers Adam Borek and Andrew Lerario's project was "SeeWorld." We focused on perspective and experimented through photography. We explored with different lens, including time, space, humanities, and chemistry. We updated weekly on what we were working on and you can find everything on this page!
